Devlog 06
This whole semester was basically prepping for the next. As we're coming to the end, I feel like we've been thorough enough to put us in a good position to start building the game next semester. We will also have our mechanics coded into our prototype, so we can focus on bug fixes, alterations needed to be made (found through testing), and polish. Overall stress levels are pretty low for this next course.
The level of documentation we have has been great for keeping us on the same page. It makes meetings more productive as no mechanic related questions arise to steer us off track. Identifying risks has also been helpful as we run the risk of losing a group member. This way we don't have to stress as much if we are put into that scenario.
The documentation we have learned about will be amazing for capstone. I feel like we are better prepared to tackle our long term project next year. Without this class and the previous practice class, I'm not sure we would have fully understood the importance of documentation, which could lead to many problems down the road.
